An hour soon elapsed, and Aaron heard the door open. Alice popped her head in through the kitchen, and almost
fainted in shock, having seen a Dewott sitting beside the computer. The Dewott was smiling sinisterly.
"Aaron? Is that you?"
He nodded slowly.
"How did you get like this? And what are you doing, anyway?"
Without hesitation, Aaron smacked his little black paw against the keyboard, shouting in the Dewott tongue as
he did so.
"I don't get it. Are you trying to break your keyboard?"
A few seconds passed and nothing happened. He hit the keyboard a few more times before he started to wonder if
he had hit the wrong thing. After all, which one was the enter key...?
Alice had soon made her way over to the computer to see what her idiot boyfriend was doing. She gasped when
she saw the screen. "Aaron! Are you stupid?! Why did you make this permanent?!"
Permanent? Aaron thought worriedly. That's not possible...
"You made it so that you couldn't talk, read, write, or...remove your...scalchops? Aaron, what were you
thinking?" Then she noticed the other open window, detailing the planned body swap. "You were gonna steal my
body and leave me stuck as a Dewott?"
Now very scared, Aaron slowly nodded.
"Why would you... Oh. Revenge. Of course. Well, you didn't have to go through with all of this. I just turned
you into a plushie as a bit of fun, and I was going to make it up to you tonight!"
"Du?" Aaron asked, meaning to say "How?"
"I thought that we were both virgins, so..."
"Wahtt." (Oh.)
"But now, you're a Pokemon, and I... I can't have a Pokemon for a boyfirend, Aaron. I'm sorry, but you brought
this on yourself, being such a jerk."
She continued to explain the conditions of her break up, but Aaron wasn't listening. There were more pressing
matters at hand. He was trapped in the body of a real-life Dewott, unable to read, write, communicate or even
attack! And his own stupid idea for revenge had ended up leaving him stuck like this for the rest of his now
presumably shorter life.
"Come on, Aaron! Just say one little word!" (Dewott, du du, wahtt dewott du!)
"Aaron?" Alice was looking at his ex-turned-Pokemon, confused.
"Just one word!" (Du dewott!) "Please!" (Wahtt!) "I can't be stuck like this!" (Du du, wahtt dewott dewott!)
Tears were starting to form in the former human's eyes, failing to recognise that he would never again speak a
single word, and all because of his stupid competitive side! He threw himself into Alice's arms, not noticing
how much smaller than her he was. (Please, Alice! You have to help me! I don't wanna be stuck like this!)
