I drove Fred to the hospital where we were quickly helped by one of the nurses, a doctor examines Fred’s
shoulder, Fred told the doctor what happened and he said “This is from a desk lamp?” Fred nodded. The doctor
then said “Wow, who’s your assailiant, the 6 million dollar man?” Fred and I just said “Huh?” The doctor just
said “Never mind, I’ll see if I can patch it up.” Sensing that the Doctor is going to be busy with Fred for a
while, I decided to go out to the waiting area and call Terri, as I called her I said “Hello Terri.” She
responded “John, how was work?” I said “You never believe what I have to say.” I explained to her everything,
about Devon, his wife, Fred Jones and his wife’s death. Terri says “Now this is quite a twist, I never expect
Devon as your boss and you said he killed Fred Jones’ wife?” I said “Yes, bit her in the neck like a vampire.” I
heard Night in the background says “Terri, who’s calling?” Terri says “It’s John, there was an incident at work.
It seems that Devon and Jenni are there and worse, Fred’s wife been killed by Devon. John, where are you now?” I
responded “At the hospital, Fred’s shoulder is getting patched up.” Terri asks “Was he bitten?” I responded
“No, just been clubbed by a desk lamp. He must’ve used all his strength, it was enough to break the skin. I’m
going have Devon arrested for assault and battery and murder.” Then I heard Night on the line “John don’t, Devon
is very crafty as you know, to make an arrest you need evidence. Devon’s quick on hiding any incriminating
evidence. I have a better idea, when your done at the hospital bring Fred here and I’ll explain the rest but
first you need to let Fed in our secret.” I said “How? He’s still mourning over his wife’s death, I’m not sure
how he’ll respond?” Night says “I’m sure you’ll think of a way, we’ll see you both later.” Night hung up I put
the phone away and wait for Fred to come out.
