Andrew grew taller, but also slimmer. His blond hair extended down to his waist. His stomach pulled in, but his chest and hips pushed out. His destroyed clothes were replaced by a corset, leggings, and a quiver. At that point, I knew what was going on. Perhaps it was because the very same outfit was etched in wood right in front of me. Andrew continued changing, his ears growing and the like, until he was nearly identical to Maedel. Nearly meaning that Andrew had smaller breasts and that he wasn't made of wood.
"So, elf ranger?" Andrew asked, surprisingly calm.
"Looks like it. Welcome to the sisterhood." Maedel said.
"Why are you two so calm?" I demanded.
"Because I chose to be transformed." Andrew said.
"So, what now? Are you going to do one of those 'just living with the curse' things or are you going to go all elf?" Maedel asked.
"Hang on, you're the one asking that?" Morgana asked. I was just glad that someone besides me thought this was odd.
"She's an elf now. I figured it was my job to make sure she gets used to it... if she wants." Maedel said.
"I guess I should. Don't know how long I'll be here after all." Andrew said.
"OK. I'll take you out in the woods and train you in the ways of the elf." Maedel said.
"Really?" Andrew asked.
"No, I just don't want to be around these two when Sara eventually explodes." Maedel said as she ran out the door.
"Wait for me!" Andrew said as he followed.
"So," Morgana said, "are you gonna 'explode' at me?"
"I don't know." I said.
"Want some pancakes before Maedel gets back to eat them all?" Morgana asked.
"Sure." I said, sitting at the table. I was still deciding whether to be mad at my brother or Morgana. Unfortunately for me, I'm too nice, so I decided neither.
