In that awful moment of truth you see your fingers are nolonger fingers. Now a cloven hoof has replaced the fingers as a fetlock has replaced your wrist.
A groan from a strange inner satisfaction comes out your mouth.
A small voice calls out to you, "enjoy, be calm your time on earth is expanding! You are to be the leader of our herd, come now stand and take your place!" begged you on.
Your wet clothes seem to melt off your growing body. The weight of massive horns atop your head bring personal feelings of majesty. Now standing you turn your head back to see a tall straight tail wisking the air.
Turning to face your mentor you look into the small face of a fairy butterfly person. You want to ask, but lips, tongue and brain seem uncoordinated.
"Yes, you are now a prime and sound male goat! You are the guardian and leader of a herd numbering in the hundreds. The herd's needs will be met by your deep pleasure. As our last majestic leader, you shall guide your herd from pasture to pasture. In every way on every day you will find mounting pleasures to fill the lifetime you set aside by coming here, to us!" tells the Butterfly fairy.
No mistaking the feelings building inside your mind as instincts of animal form work their way between human memories and all you plans for the future.
"As he was you are also! He led your flocks for nintynine years. His was a time of growth for the herd in numbers upon numbers were born. He met our needs as we met his and with his final year my Master and Queen of Fairydom released him back to his world. A young man again as he was when first he came, to live and enjoy the world about. Ah, but he had found true love of life and within a moon he appeared at the Fairy glade. Begged he did to take his place amoung the herd. Denied he was as you were choosen to be the proud buck. My Queen saw in him true desire to join and be of use to our small world, but he could not serve as a buck. The choice was made and today he stand supreme as our leader of the dairy herd. There he will again find purpose in his self and will fill the needs of those about him. Enough, now come and take your rightful place, here with the flocks." beconed the little Fairy.
