“Now where to find my old body?” he asked himself, not knowing what street he was on.
No sooner had the words left Tim's dark, feminine lips than a strange, twitching sensation swept through his
mind. He knew exactly where Evelyn (and his old body) were. It wasn't as though he could “see” anything, like
a magical surveillance camera image. Rather it was simply a very solid, gut feeling about Evelyn's precise
whereabouts at this moment.
“Interesting,” mused Tim. “Maybe being a demoness isn't so bad after all. But why isn't Evelyn in school right
now?”
His instincts told him Evelyn and Paul were cutting class today. That was completely out of character for both
Paul and the original Tim. It seemed likely Evelyn's original personality was still pretty strong. If she was
really the mental carbon copy of Tim, she'd never have skipped school! Perhaps she genuinely believed she was
“Tim Sherman,” but she certainly didn't have Tim's moral compass. She might have Tim's life, body, and even
memories, but it seemed her actions were still being driven by Evelyn's original, corrupt soul. Tim wondered
what Paul thought of this sudden character change in his best friend? Poor old Paul was pretty gullible and
sometimes slow to make logical connections about social issues. He was probably being stupidly led astray by
the false Tim, and hadn't noticed anything unusual yet.
“Only one way to figure out what's going on,” muttered Tim in his soft, seductive voice. “I guess I'll have to
pay a little visit to Paul Hodgson and Tim Sherman.”
If Evelyn really was slipping back into her old wicked ways, then perhaps Tim's mission to corrupt her would
prove easier than he'd imagined?
Tim closed his eyes and concentrated on the location of Paul and Evelyn... and an instant later, he found
himself quietly teleported very near to them.
Where are they?
