"Excuse us for a minute, I want discuss this with my sister in private." Carl said motioning to Wendy to meet
with him in private. They found a private spot just outside of the bathroom where Carl said what was building
up within him. "This is starting to get out of hand. The show doesn't start this this summer so I thought I'd
have about two months to be myself to sort of psych myself up for it, but now that's been cut in half and now
he's talking about photo shoots and interviews."
"Are you backing out? You had to have known this was coming." Wendy said wearily.
"I know, this is just happening so fast I didn't think about that." Carl looked exhausted as he sat down with
the weight of the world on his dainty shoulders. "I just want to be me again. I've grown to accepted that
you've made me your twin sister, but it feels like I'm getting trapped in this role of someone who I'm not.
Wanted to be who I really am isn't too much to ask is it?"
For the first time, Wendy really took a look at what she'd done to her husband. He just looked sad and
defeated. She wanted to mess with him and teach him a lesson about the way he treated her, but maybe she was
taking it too far. "Carl. I love you and thank you for going through all of this for me and I promise I will
make it up to you. Tell you what." Wendy said knowing just what to do for her husband, "After this meeting is
over we'll go right back to our room and you will be Carl again. You'll be Carl until I have to turn you back
for the pre-show stuff next month. And I'll also even..." the rest of what she whispered to Carl wouldn't be
appropriate to be put here, but just know that Carl was very very excited at what Wendy was proposing. "You
mean that? You'd do that for me?" Wendy nodded. "Well what are we waiting for. Let's get back to Jon and sign
a contract or whatever we have to do." Carl gave Wendy a kiss on the cheek, "Love you babe," and he made his
way back to the table before the dinner arrived.
Wendy chuckled to herself before walking back to the table and muttering under her breath, "Men."
