Sitting up in bed, I looked at the man and saw that he was wearing the kind of clothes you'd see in Disney's
Aladdin. Getting nervous, I said, "Wh-Who are you?"
"My name is Haidar; and I'm here to train you in the ways of the genie."
"Well, you're wasting your time." Getting out of the bed, I said, "Because I don't want to be a genie; I want
to be human again."
"I'm sorry, young genie; but that's impossible." Looking at me, Haidar says, "You'll be a genie until such
time as your master wishes to free you."
Abruptly turning to face Haidar, I said, "Stop calling me young genie; my name is Carl."
"Carl?" amused, Haidar says, "Such a name does not fit a genie as beautiful as you."
"Well that's my name; and I'm keeping it." Sighing, I said, "I don't care if it's not a girl's name."
It took him a while; but Haidar eventually managed to get me to cooperate. Standing over me as I sat on the
bed, he said, "Now for your first lesson, Carl."
Looking at Haidar, my arms across my chest, I said, "What might that be?"
