After a while, I sat up in bed and looked around at the new decor in the room. I wasn't sure howl but I'm
guessing that either Haidar or I had changed things in an attempt to make myself more comfortable.
Looking down at my clothing, I couldn't help but shake my head. "I'd rather wear something from my own
century; maybe some jeans and a T-shirt."
I felt my clothing start to shift as soon as the words left my lips; causing me to scream as I suddenly found
myself wearing jeans and a T-shirt from the 80s. When my shock wore off, I thought about what I'd said and
couldn't help but sigh.
"Guess I should've said something from this century."
After focusing for a moment, I was relieved to find myself wearing fashionable blue jeans and a blouse. Once
my outfit was in order, I decided to explore what was apparently going to my home for a while.
As I explored the surroundings, I was surprised to see the interior was larger than I'd expected; I found a
door leading to a bathroom and one leading to a kitchen. Despite seeing how spacious and comfortable the lamp
was; it didn't stop me from wanting to get back to my family.
Although Haidar had told me it was impossible; I was never one to give up without trying. "There's got to be a
way out; Jamila got out, so I should as well."
Just then a grumbling in my stomach interrupted my thoughts; causing me to head back to the kitchen. Opening
fridge, I found it stocked with various food items from my time. "Hopefully Haidar stocked some pizza for me
to heat up."
The moment I said that, I heard a DING as the nearby oven opened up. "Now that's service."
After finding a pot holder, I pulled the pizza out to find that it was covered in every topping imaginable.
Unknown to me, Haidar was watching me from his own lamp as a disappointed moan escaped my lips. "You need to
be more specific, rookie." Sighing, he said, "It's been 800 years since we've had a new genie. I hope I can
train this one better; even if she was forced into this life."
