After having a pizza with everything on it, I wasn't surprised when I woke up to find that I wasn't feeling
well. Getting out of the bed, I groaned as I trudged off to the bathroom.
I walked out of the bathroom a few minutes later to find Haidar waiting for me. Shaking his head, Haidar said,
"You've got much to learn, young genie."
Looking at him, suffering from a bit of a headache, I said, "Not so loud!"
"You have to be more specific when you use your magic." Looking at me, he said, "If you ask for this...pizza;
you need to be specific about which kind."
"So how does that work?" gesturing to my surroundings, I said, "I didn't ask for any of this stuff; but it's
here anyway."
"You've been imprinted on the lamp; your subconscious mind directed the lamp to reshape itself to suit your
needs." Pausing, Haidar said, "However that's not the case with food."
"Okay, I'll try again." Running a hand through my hair, I said, "Would you like anything?"
"I'm curious to try this pizza." looking at me, with a slight grin, he said, "However, I don't desire what you
had last night."
"How about I start you off with a small cheese pizza; to give you an idea what it's like." Pausing, I said,
"If you like it; we'll experiment with more toppings in the future."
"Okay then."
As Haidar tried the pizza, I said, "How many other new genies are there?"
"You're the first in 800 years." Pausing, Haidar said, "Most of us were born into it; while you and your
predecessor were transformed."
"Jamila said she was changed by a sorceress, correct?"
"That's right; the sorceress was a descendant of the sorcerer who bound us to lamps."
