Despite the disorientation, you realize the color and markings on the spider that bit you: a black widow. Very poisonous - you need to get help! But standing quickly proves to be a mistake and you collapse on the ground.
You rapidly begin to feel feverish and dizzy and your vision remains strange. Desperate for relief, you begin removing clothes in the hopes of cooling off. After a moment of hesitation, you deciede to strip completely naked, desperate to cool off as much as possible. You try to remember if there was any water nearby, but you can't remember.
Disrobing has used up the last of your energy. As you begin to fade out, you notice the skin on your stomach has turned jet black. Is the poison spreading that fast? The gutwrenching pain you start to feel in addition to the vertigo and fever suggests it might. Soon you're not sure where the pain is coming from anymore: your tailbone, your sides, or your legs. You black out from the pain.
