Kelly looked down at the piece of paper that listed the changes she’d wished were true, which would have masculinized the female population of the planet. Instead, it looked like the opposite had happened, at least to her.
All she could think to do was say, “I wish I knew what went wrong with my wish, starting with the ring heating up.”
She jumped as she heard the female voice in her head, sounding almost like an automated voice mail system. “The increase in temperature of the ring is normal following a wish that will affect a large number of organisms. It will not harm the ring’s wearer. When the ring was moved under cold water, the sudden change in temperature caused the ring to malfunction and incorrectly generate the magic required to grant the wish. Portions of the wish may have been granted correctly, but other portions may have been altered in some manner, even reversed. Following the conclusion of the wish-granting process, the ring was able to repair itself.”
”So what...” Kelly started to ask the ring a question, but then realized it wasn’t really a dialogue. Instead, she sighed and said, “I wish that what’s written on this piece of paper is what the ring granted me instead of what I wished.”
The text blurred and resharpened. Still in Kelly’s handwriting, it now read:
Physical Changes
All women will have long hair, so they don’t have to deal with hair anymore. All women will never have to use makeup again and their faces will remain beautiful no matter what. All women will be unable to gain muscle mass just like men can naturally. All women will not be flat-chested, boobs will very much exist, nipples will be sensitive, and babies will be breast-fed. All women will have wide hips and their butts will stick out more than they currently do. All women will have feet comfortable in high heels. All women will still have vaginas, but they will have more nerves like a man’s penis. All women will no longer have periods and thus no more cramps once a month. All women will still give birth, but the feeling will be more like taking a shit than painful childbirth. Mental Changes
All women will want to dress in female style clothing (more pink, more dresses, more panties, more high heels). All women will like sports, cars, and other men things. All women will have the sex drives of men and would no longer want romance in a relationship.
By the time she got to the end of the list, Kelly was having to take deep breaths to keep herself from crying. A world where women looked like male fantasies and higher sex drives -- it seemed terrible.
”I wish the effects of my big wish were reversed,” she said, cringing as she expected the ring to heat up again.
