Nothing apparent happened.
Kelly whispered, “I wish I knew why that didn’t work.”
The female voice sounded in her head again. “Wishes granted while the ring was in a malfunctioning state are irreversible.”
”Damn it,” she muttered, looking at the ring on her finger. Hard to believe something that small could do all this.
Her first thought was to get it to malfunction again, and hope that it wouldn’t screw up a simple reversal wish. On the other hand, if it did screw things up even more, it might make things even worse for her. Decisions, decisions...
