"I'm a bit lost" You reply, still trying to adjust to your new feminine stance and the sensations of your new body.
"About what?" She asked. "Are you still not enjoying your new development?"
You think to yourself about how this form feels to you. "I'll admit, it's not as bad as I thought it would be but it's still not me." You reply. The warm water washing over your body felt comforting on your new flesh. "I still feel like a guy at heart."
Rinsing her hair, she turned to you. "In time those feelings will pass. You'll enjoy this form as long as you are willing to give it a chance. If you're worried about your old life, the world around you has been changed. Your family and friends are still just that and they will not be as shocked by your change as you are. The magic sees to that."
"I understand but..." You hesitate for a moment. A part of you realizes how odd it is that you are having this conversation with this woman who changed you, not only in a shower, naked, but in the very shower that she changed you in. "It's not just about the changes...why? WHen I came here as a guy you did not seem to be happy to see me. Yet knowing that I am still the same person at heart, you are now accepting of me? I don't understand any of it."
The woman laughed a little, causing you to frown uncertainly at her sudden outburst. "Sorry it's just amusing. I was hoping you'd figure it out on your own but well, I don't particularly care for men."
"So you're..."
"A lesbian? Yes. I suppose you could call me that." You didn't notice at first but she had been moving closer to you in the shower. "Anyways I'm sure you have found out that I also possess certain superhuman capabilities. Well I should tell you that I'm a bit older than I look."
"How old?"
"Silly girl." She said, emphasizing "girl" "You should know that it's impolite to ask for a woman's age. I suppose there is much I will have to teach you. Anyways, having been around for a while, I have realized a few things."
"Like what?"
"Well that a person is not so much defined by their gender as their person. I came to the realization that anyone male or female could possess the personality and non-physical traits that I desired, however I also had no desire for a male body in a person."
"So you go around changing guys into girls?"
"Yes and no. It's not that crude. I merely put my magic around this mansion. Those who are shown to be of a personality that works with mine and are capable of adapting to the changes that might need to occur are drawn here. Those who don't fit these requirements would never find this place."
"You're saying I was destined to find this place? But I just stumbled onto it."
"Yes you stumbled onto it in a park where there shouldn't be any houses. Did you not find that strange?"
"I guess but I still don't see how I could be your true love. Drawn to you like that."
She laughs again.
"What's so funny?"
"Sorry it's just your society and it's concept of true love."
"You don't believe in it?"
"I wouldn't say that. WHen i was growing up though, we did not marry for love. We married because it was expected of us and to gain social standing. There were poets who wrote of true love but so many of them fell into arranged marriage. This concept of marrying solely for romance is a fairly new concept. Anyways, I have waited centuries and never found my true love. Will I some day? I don't know. It may even be you but until I'm sure, living alone is very solitary and it would be nice to spend it with a friend, maybe even a lover. If you're willing to give it a chance that is."
