Lissy took the dice with a content look in her eyes. She rolled a 5 and said: "Oh, that´s nice! I would like to meet with Mary at the border of the swamp. So i walk this way!" she made five paintings with her index finger, drawing a bow to a hex two before Mary`s.
Mary replied to her spoke thoughts: "Don´t move any closer in any circumstance. We don´t know how big the swamp is. I will meet you next roll." Lissy nodded: "Therefor i made the bow. And for some adventures of discovery, of course!"
Dina squeaked with her high pitched rabbit voice: "Me, i don´t care for discovery and adventures. I am glad if i am not discovered." Bob gave a nice grumble to her, stroking her long and fluffy ears tenderly. Dina pressed against him and added: "And covered by a strong bear, of course!!!" Tobi let out a smile again, which caused Dina to giggle again. "Your Horsie grin is too funny, Tobi!"
Mary looked at Tobi, too, and stroke his flank with her slender green hands. Tobi did´t look very pleased by the touch, and so she stopped. First time she looked sad about her transformation.
Lissy looked on the display of the board. It wrote: "Hex three, roll a perception over or equal to 5." Hm, said Lissy. It is a secret perhaps. I have my animal senses, but the task is still that high!" Mary nodded. Ryan replied: "Just make the roll, and don´t chat around. There are important people having a task to fulfill!" Tobi snored at him, and - oh wonder - he shut up.
Lissy rolled a 3, and told Mary: "Perhaps you might have a look at this place, if we turn to meet the others. "Good Idea!"
Lissy's figure went on to the next hexameter, and the display showed a furious ent, a huge living tree enraged with fury. "Oh, oh!", said Dina and looked away. Lissy gulped down and the display showed: "You are not belonging to this wood, and therefor the Trees are attacking you." "But i am a spirit, a kitsune! How can he attack me?" I think that´s not the point now!", replied Mary. "Can we do something for you?" Lissy shrugged.
The display said: "Dexterity: Roll 6 to escape the graphing branches." "Oh no!", they all said in unison, at least the ones who could still speak. Mary played the berries on Lissy: "I don´t know what they are doing, but it was a benefit card. It can´t be worse than the things the trees do to you!" Lissy nodded. The display showed: "Morphing berries. Change the intensity and broadcast of any transformation type you have at the beginning of every round."
"Wow, what a card!", said Dina. "I would like to have it, too!" "But for me at the moment, it doesn´t change anything. I can do it at the beginning of my next turn, but perhaps i can change into a complete fox for a perfect disguise!" She rolled a three, and the display showed a caught kitsune, strapped between two giant trees with faces. "That´s it for now!", said Lissy, and gave the dice to Marys green hands. As she did, branches were growing out of the walls of Marys room, and inanimated her moves by strapping her up in the air. A small tear ran out of her beautiful eyes.
