“Uh…” Haily’s train of thought was babbled. “Essence du neko mimi?” She bumbled out, looking around to mask her blush. Esmeralda smiled
knowingly at Haily. “You should know,” the foxy saleswoman spoke “zat particular perfume is 'special'. It ez imported from Japan, and ez very
popular among ze fans of manga and anime.” Haily was embarrassed – she'd never been a huge fan of either, and mostly read and watched for
the catgirls, if there were any in the series. Deep down, she'd always been jealous of their perfect bodies, and the cat features only made her
more jealous. ”Well miss, right over ziz way, we ’ave ze essence du neko mimi. Do you ’ave a special someone in mind per’aps? A man, for ze
matching cologne?” Haily glanced over to the inu cologne…maybe she could buy him some.
“Yes ma’am. Besides he’s into anime, so I think he'd like it.” She looked away, not realizing that she had just said that aloud.
“Oooh, so zere is a man?” Esmeralda chuckled. “Well zen ’ere you are, one bottle of essence du neko mimi, and one bottle of essence du inu?
Will zat be all mademoiselle?” Haily nodded and proceeded to the check out. “Jus’ be careful petit dame, what you wish for, so it shall be. Zat is
no ordinary perfume, in fact, none of zeze are. Zey are ze scent, of passion.” Haily shook her head, admiring her commitment to the store,
laughing inside at how cheesy the line was.
“Thankyou ma’am, its been a pleasure talking to you.” As she reached for the perfume, Esmeralda placed a hand on hers, holding her for one
moment, and staring into Haily’s eyes, seduction oozing from her smile.
“No, mademoiselle, ze pleasure, was all mine.” And her eyes flashed yellow, just briefly. Haily stumbled, the woman’s gentle chuckle making
Haily laugh back ,nervously. Yeah, time to go home. As she left the shop, she wondered how she did that. Contacts probably. Controlled by
blinking…or? Whatever, it was kinda neat. Just startled her, that’s all. She looked in her bag ad the bottle, and smiled. Sheesh she had been
waiting a while to get her hands on this.
She called her boyfriend Dan, and met at his place. He was about 6 foot 3, with short, blonde hair. While not overly muscular, he wasn't a stick
either.
“So you got these for us?” he asked, a bit curious. “Yes Dan.” Haily replied, blushing “I guess I didn't want to do this alone, and I know how
much you like this kind of stuff. The only problem is, it's all in Japanese, so I can't read any of it. Can you?”
“Just because I'm into Japanese stuff doesn't mean I can read it!” he said, chuckling to himself about it.
“Then let's each try just one spray just to be safe.” She said.
So Haily sprayed herself with her essence du neko mimi – it smelled like strawberry cheese cake and salmon.
Dan sprayed himself with essence du ino – it smelled like rice balls with sake and beef.
They looked at eachother, and to their amazement their heads seemed a bit bigger, their eyes were wider, and their noses were perfectly
pointed and flat on the sides, yet they could still breathe normally.
“Wow,” Dan said “you look just like an anime version of yourself, Haily-Chan.”
“You too, Dan-Kun.” They were a little surprised that they were using Japanese honorifics for eachother's names. Then they looked down at the
bottles they were holding. “Hey,” Haily exclaimed “I can understand what it says now!” “Yeah,” Dan said, smiling “same here.”
The bottles explained that although they would make girls into catgirls, and boys into dogboys, it would actually draw out their feelings, and
make them more passionate toward eachother. One spray was only enough to make them into living anime people. If they wanted any animal
features, they'd have to spray themselves with more.
“Well, what do you want to do, Haily-Chan?” Dan asked with a smile that said he'd do whatever she wanted.
