We happen to think it was the waterfalls till we realized we were near a town named Ballston Spa in New York. The good thing was that we happen to find a store and get more supplies needed. We headed over and managed to make it to nearby Cambridge NY. There we camped by a old run down barn that had been abandoned. We camped and hid during the day and journey at night. We managed to make it to the Vermont border within a few days. By then we gotten used to stinking. We went on the outskirts of Bennington and continued eastward. Eventually after 2 more nights of traveling and making it into the wilderness we hit a pond that had lots of privacy for drifters named little pond in Vermont and on the outskirts. Mom happened to get the correct map. Despite it being called Little it was not little by a long shot. it was respectable and quiet and seemed clean to swim and bathe in. We found getting into the area was sort of tough with thickets and all, but managed to find that the trail we needed was easy to continue on with. A plus for us was that since not many people ventured into this place, there was no liter it seemed which suggested it was not that well known. By my ipod touch it was in the 80s at night and it was turning out to be an unusual hot early summer. We surveyed our place and decided to camp for a day or so. We had enough food rations and supplies and money to keep us going.
