Dustin grabbed the keys to the car, along with his soft bag.
"Come on, Ty, let's go!" he shouted to his little brother.
They grabbed their bags, put them in the trunk, and went on a two-hour drive to the beach.Ty had not been to the beach in over a year, and it seemed like an appropriate time to go.
When they got there, Dustin put a towel on the ground and lay down to get some sun, while Ty decided to go for a stroll along the water. It was crowded since it was still summer vacation and school was out.
As Ty was walking, he saw a frisbee pass right by him, in front of him. As he bent down to grab it, another kid ran right into him, knocking him down in the sand. The kid grabbed his frisbee, extended his hand to Ty in order to help him up. He apologized to him, for he didn't see Ty and he ran off with his frisbee. He was skinny and tall and wore a red speedo.
Ty walked back to Dustin and took his shirt and shorts off, and he put his clothes in the soft bag, next to Dustin. Wearing just his navy blue speedo, Ty walked back to the water and stopped when he saw a kid who was sitting next to a pile of sand.
Ty walked right up to him and sat next to him, on his knees. The boy was trying hard to build a sandcastle. But Ty instructed him to gather as much sand as he could and to put it all in one big pile. Then Ty decided to try something fun using his power, and created a 3 foot wide and 3 foot tall sand castle using all the sand the boy had gathered.
Suddenly he heard a lady screaming at the top of her lungs, pointing at a boy, who was swimming a few hundred feet from the shore. She started to panic for the boy was way too far out and she was afraid that he would get cramps!
"Somebody go get him! He's too far out!" the lady screamed.
"Somebody... Anybody! Go get my son!"
Without thinking twice, Ty got up, ran towards the ocean and dove in. While he was underwater, he decided to change his legs into a large two-foot-wide fin, so he could swim over to the boy in less than a minute.
When Ty reached the boy he recognized him, it was the same kid who ran into him earlier. The boy was exhausted, so Ty swam on his back, holding the boy in his right arm and keeping his head on top of his chest, Ty used his fin to race back to the shore.
As he reached shallow water, he turned his fin back into legs, and slowly walked out of the water, holding on to the boy.
The lady was very greatfull, and several people came up to Ty, thanking him for rescuing the boy. When all the people went back to what they were doing, Ty was about to walk back to the kid who was building the sandcastle, when he suddenly noticed an old man dressed in a black suit and holding on to a walking stick.
The man had a smile on his face and he summoned Ty to walk up to him.
