Nate ran down the sidewalk in the direction they had went, his long, shaggy fur flowing in the breeze, but
caught no sight of them. New scents filled his greatly expanded senses and he wanted to investigate each one,
but remained focused on his goal. Find the girl
who did this and insist they turn him back. He turned off the path into the park and followed the path until
finally he saw the three of them stretched out on a blanket in the shade under an old oak tree. Nate ran over
to them.
"Ah, I see our new friend has found us," said Agnes.
"Very funny, now turn me back!" replied Nate, sounding very stressed.
"Careful boy, or I will make that form permanent," intoned Agnes.
"I'm sorry. It's just that I can't be a dog when my parents get home. I'm supposed to go to my cousin's
wedding tomorrow. I'm an usher and I don't think that would work either..." replied Nate, saying more than he
meant to.
"You'll be alright," Star petted Nate, running her fingers through his thick fur. "You'll turn back in a
couple hours. That's what Kathryn said."
"Thank you," replied Nate. "Hey, that feels pretty good."
"Stay here and lie with us." Kathryn gave him a re-assuring smile.
Nate laid on the blanket with them, telling them about himself. How he was an only child and had few friends.
He admitted that he had long fantasized about being transformed and now that he knows he can turn back, he's
starting to enjoy it.
"Well, that's good," said Kathryn.
"Will you let me turn you into something else?" asked Star.
"Yeah, Star is just starting to learn magic. If you let her turn you into other things, we'll let you keep the
other spell. Or give you another, if you decide you don't want to turn into a dog again," said Agnes.
Nate was mulling it over as he saw himself starting to resume his human form. He watched as his front paws
grew back out into hands as the fur seemed to disappear. Within a few moments, he was back to his old self. He
turned to face the three witches.
"Yeah, ok, I'm game," replied Nate. He looked over himself, surprised to see he was still fully clothed, in
his shorts and t-shirt. "Hey, I'm still wearing my clothes."
"Well, it was like that in the movie, the clothes are part of the transformation," said Star, smiling.
"That makes sense," replied Nate.
"All right, we have this all settled," said Kathryn, smiling.

Nate walked home with the three witches, surprised to see they lived next door to him.
"Well, now you know where to find us," said Kathryn. "We'll see you later."
"Definately!" replied Nate.
Nate went inside and laid down on his bed, trying to wrap his head around what had happened that day. He
couldn't help but smile from ear to ear.
