Nate ran around to the back of the Country club building as he heard his parents approaching. He hid in the
shadows of the building, still hearing them calling out for them. To his relief, he saw the fur receding as
his paws stretched out into hands and feet again and his body retained it's shape. He gave himself one more
look over, making sure everything was back to normal and then walked out to greet his parents.
"Here I am," said Nate.
"There you are. Where did you go?" asked Nate's Mom.
"I got bored, so I took a walk," replied Nate.
"Com'n you two, I'm tired, let's head home."

The next morning, Nate awoke to a message taped to his window. It was from Kathryn, telling him to come over
after breakfast. Part of him was ecstatic. He quickly ate breakfast and then ran next door. He knocked on the
door and Kathryn let him in.
"Why hello Nate, are you ready to get transformed?" she asked smiling.
"As ready as I'll ever be," replied Nate. Kathryn stepped aside and Nate walked in. "So, yeah, that whole me
transforming into a dog thing...that happened again last night, at the reception."
"I see, I'm sorry about that." Kathryn gave a couple flicks of her wrist and gave another chant. "There, that
should take care of it. We'll find something more suited to you. Come."
Kathryn led Nate into the living room, which was a large room with a tall vaulted ceiling. "Now then, Star,
what shall we turn our friend into first?"
Nate took a bit of a gulp, wondering what she would pick. He watched tentatively as she opened the spell book
marked "Transformations."
