After Emily came home, she decided to return to the magic shop to thank the woman there, considering that her
best summer at the farm would never have happened if not for her.
The next morning, a few days before the new college semester starts, Emily is at the shop once again.
"Emily," the store owner greeted, "It's so wonderful to see you again. How was your summer at the farm?"
"It was wonderful," Emily replied, "I've never had so much fun at the farm in my entire life. Thank you so
much for giving me this opportunity."
"You are very welcome," said the woman, "Speaking of opportunities, I was hoping you would come back sooner or
later. I was hoping to make an offer. See, I'm usually a little shorthanded around here, and I feel that only
people with a good amount of experience with the magic here would make good coworkers. So I was hoping that
you would take a job here until the summer starts again. You be in your goat form while working."
After hearing the offer, it didn't take long for Emily to make up her mind. She needed a job for the next 9
months, and there's an offer for one right in front of her. Besides, she had grown very accustomed to being a
goat girl so much that she feels more comfortable in that form than as a human at times; plus she can't be a
goat girl in public view without drawing attention.
"You've got a deal ma'am," Emily said, shaking the store owner's hand.
"Thank you very much for joining me here," the woman said, "And please, call me Winifred."
