Jim's room shook at the sound of his sister's giant voice shouting next door. A book tumbled from his shelf, and he nearly rolled off of his bed in surprise.
"What the hell?" he muttered. That was ridiculously loud. Just how big did Tom make her head grow? he wondered.
Jim walked to his door, opened it, and hesitated a moment before approaching his sister's room. Then, he knocked on her door. "Judy?" he said.
"JIMMY!" she screamed. Jim covered his ears against the deafening volume of her voice.
"What's going on?" he yelled through her door.
"Jimmy! Help. I can't move. My head... oh, God... my head is huge!"
Jim let his ears go and carefully opened her door.
He was greeted by a strange sight. His sister's body was standing before him on her tiptoes. It appeared as though her head were stuck inside of a big flesh-colored boulder on her bed. She seemed to be struggling to get her head out of it. He took a step further into the room and saw that there was hair on the back of the boulder, well it was like hair only each strand was as thick as wire and almost 10 feet long. On top of the boulder in the hair was a strange knobby growth that resembled a very large ear, big enough that Jim could use it as a chair. The boulder appeared to be quietly sobbing.
Nice work, Jim thought. You overdid it a bit, Tom.

Jim put his hands over his ears again in anticipation of his sister's next scream and said, "Judy?"
"JIMMY!" Judy boomed and Jim winced at the volume. He could feel her voice vibrating through his skull.
"Not so loud!" he shouted.
"Jimmy," she whimpered a bit more quietly. "Help me. I'm stuck. I-I don't know what to do."
Jim walked around her body to her face. His socks quickly became soaked in some kind of warm water on her floor. He looked up at her and realized that it was tears puddling on her floor from the waterfalls leaking from her enormous eyes. He shivered a bit when those eyes fixed on him.
"Oh, Jimmy. Look at me," she said and sobbed. "I'm a freak."
He could feel her warm breath blowing past him as she spoke.
"Can you tell me what happened," he said as he slowly let his hands down. "Quietly, please."
"Okay," she said in almost a whisper and then she went on with her story. Jim listened intently and nodded at the right moments, playing the concerned brother to the best of his ability.
When she had finished, Jim said, "So you don't have any idea why this would've happened?"
"No," she said. A new torrent of tears cascaded down to her floor.
"Well," Jim said pretending to work out what had happened to her. "Obviously this is not something natural. There's got to be something magical going on here, right?"
"I guess," she muttered.
"So, then, could you possibly have triggered some kind of magical... thing? Or, maybe you ticked off some kind of witch or magician," Jim said leading her on.
Her eyes went wide. "That old man," she said. "The one I wouldn't help cross the street. He said he was going to curse me. No, he said a curse would be on my head." She gasped in shock as she remembered.
"Wow," Jim said. "Sounds like you pissed off the wrong old man."
"Oh my God," she moaned. "What do I do now? I can't go find him to fix me if I can't move out of my room."
"I don't know," he said. Then, a thought came to him. "Tom is downstairs. I should probably check on him for a second. Maybe I'll send him home. I'll be back in a minute, and we can figure this out then."
"Don't leave me!" she said a bit too loudly. Jim winced.
"I promise I'll be right back."
She sniffled her massive nose and said, "Okay. But, come right back. Don't leave me alone in here forever. Promise me."
"Okay," said Jim. "I promise." Then, he left her to ponder her fate.
