"Like it would come true if I said I wish that every guy at school was gay. Not possible."
"Or if I said that I wish time would fast forward to tomorrow morning at school?" you ask dejectedly.

"What is it–" Nick starts to say when your vision blurs and the magic shop fades out of focus. When shapes and colors sharpen again as your vision returns, you see that you and Nick are now standing in the middle of your high school hallway.
"–doing?" Nick finishes, looking around in bewilderment. "How did we get here? And what happened to us?" You look at him, noticing for the first time that he looks very different.
Gone are his glasses and all the pimples on his face. He has a firm jaw and evidence of a very clean shave. He is no longer wearing baggy pants but dark blue jeans that are containing some very thick legs. He is taller, and his chest is broader. You are surprised to see some pecs jutting out of his black muscle tee. His arms are thicker as well, his biceps which used to not be visible are large softballs sitting nicely in his arms.
"Nicely?" you wonder to yourself. Then you glance down at your own body. Or at least attempt to. You also have large pecs that make it difficult to see past. You can just barely see your shoes when you stand straight up. You feel the thick muscles in your arms and legs tense and relax as you look yourself over.
"I think that machine actually does make wishes come true," you say.
"I guess so," Nick agrees. "Sorry that I ridiculed you so much about that."
"No problem," you reply, giving him a slight shove. "How could you have known it actually would have worked?"
"Wait," he says suddenly, looking alarmed. "If our last two wishes were granted, what about that other one I made?"
You try to think back, but now that memory is a day old, despite actually happening a minute ago. You glance down the hallway and see David, the senior captain and quarterback of the football team, walk up to one of the linebackers. You think his name is Alex. They share some small talk, although the distance between them is awfully small. Then, to your surprise, David reaches up and kisses Alex full on the lips. And Alex kisses back and clearly enjoys it.
"The wish about making the guys in the school gay?" you clarify. Nick nods. You point at the two jocks making out by the lockers. "There's your answer."
"So, say I'm starting to find you attractive," Nick begins to say. You look at him and realize that the distance between both of you has decreased, and you aren't opposed to it. Some "new" memories start to rise to the forefront of your mind. You grab Nick around the waist and pull him close so you can kiss.
