Charlie walked out of the strange store, board game in hand. He and his friends tried to do something
together every weekend, and Charlie knew it was going to rain all night, so he bought this "Game of Change"
from the strange new shop in the mall. Arriving home, he knew that he was getting ready for an entertaining
evening. Charlie's friends came over at around seven, and each was already bored.
Ben and Dan, step-brothers who did everything together, arrived first. Despite there bond, the two were
very different. Ben was short, around 5'3", was very skinny, about 95 lbs, and had short dark hair and had
darker skin. He was one of the top students in the class, smarter then most, especially his friends. Aside
from that, Ben was into movies and video games, loving the technology and fun of them. Dan was almost the
complete opposite. He was the tall, about 6'1", and was built. Dan is a football player for the school team,
and he looked the part, aside from his light, Irish skin-tone. Dan was smart, but not nearly so much as Ben,
yet Dan was the best athlete out of the five guys in the group. He played Football and Lacrosse, and he also
wrestled in those off seasons. When they came in, they were obviously ready to get this game over with,
particularly knowing that Charlie was in charge of the events of the night and probably picked something silly
and childish.
Charlie was known for his childlike behavior. In the past year, he'd been suspended from school twice.
The first was for getting caught on school grounds with an empty beer bottle, although that was only kind of
illegal. The second time was for arguing with his English teacher the morals of The Scarlet Letter, eventually
leading to some harsh words on both parties. Charlie was suspended for two days, Mrs. Griffin was arrested for
sexual assault of a minor. Potatoe, Potato. Regardless, Charlie was overall an average high school senior. He
got decent grades, wasn't too tall or short, nor fat or skinny. He was very average, aside from his criminal
streak. He did play football like his friends, but he didn't care about the game, but about the fun
A little after Ben and Dan arrived, Adam came in and decided to both make and join the party. If Dan
was the best athlete in this group of friends, Adam was the biggest jock. Football was his life, closely
beating out Girls, Booze, and Parties. Adam was only about 5'8", but was stocky and the high school's best
defensive lineman. Adam also has gotten into some trouble throughout his life, getting caught drunk at a party
and was arrested for possession of weed, although the charges were dropped quickly when Adam's dad, a very
wealthy resident, bought him out of the crime. Adam came to Charlie's house buzzed already, carrying a bottle
of Jack in one hand and a bag of pot in the other. Classic Adam.
The final member of the group arrived a minute after Adam. Erik was a British kid who moved with his
Aunt and mother to America so that his mum could get a better job. He is loved by all woman, although it is
probably just because of the accent. He is skinny, lanky even, weighing 45.36kg (100 lbs) and 1.9m (About
6'1"). Erik was also the biggest womanizer, losing his virginity at age 13. He lost his second virginity at
age 15 to a man, confirming to Erik that he was indeed bisexual. Nevertheless,Erik was the fastest running
back on the football team, which is how he became such good friends with this group. Together, these five made
up the power group of the high school, and they were the best of friends, the friendship starting on the field
and leading to the rest of the time.
On this Saturday night, none of there other friends nor their significant others were free, so the five
regrouped from Charlie's decision of fun- a board game. They all got started on drinking, and play began.

Charlie didn't need the rules- he saw that all you did in the game was move the pieces around the
board, grabbing a card with every move. Erik glanced at the rules, able to see something about "changes
becoming permanent..." but he didn't let it phase him. Instead, his attention was drawn to his playing piece,
which had reshaped to look exactly like Erik. The other guys noticed the same thing happening to their own
pieces. They were silent for a minute, but Ben spoke up.
"Guys," said Ben, "Is this too weird for us?" The others shrugged and rolled the dice to see who goes
first. Adam got the highest number, and he tossed the two dice onto the board for his first move. The piece
began to move on its own, scaring Ben (who was sober and the designated driver) and Charlie (Who was easily
scared). Adam laughed it off saying, "Dudes, it's just a game!" and grabbed a card. He looked stupefied when
he read it to himself, gulped, and he read it aloud to his friends.
