"Be your slave? No!" Kenny stopped dead, feeling angry and confused. "I don't know how you made me little, Anna, but when I get all growed up again you'll be sorry!"
Anna didn't get mad like he thought she would. She just laughed with that weird voice. "Oh, really? Foolish boy. Have you already forgotten me from last night? It was I, Circe, who have made you what every strutting male is at heart - a weak and stupid child. But since you plan to do harm to your own dear sister when you grow up, I'll just make sure you don't. You are now and forever stuck as this ugly little boy. And no longer Anna's brother - you are an abandoned child, doomed to live in orphanages or spend your life in the most menial labor - mucking stalls or working fields to survive."
Ken felt a chill pass through him, and his clothing suddenly changed. Instead of the nice outfit he'd left home in, he was barefoot and wearing filthy shorts and a torn shirt that was at least two sizes too big.
Anna's expression changed, and she looked at him with a scowl. "What are you staring at, boy?" It sounded like his sister again, but she didn't seem to recognize him. "Go away! I don;t have any money, and momma told me never to talk to beggars."
