"Follow you where?" a voice said from somewhere nearby. Worse yet, it was a male voice. Considering the only
friendly people in the woods were cheerleaders, Gabe and Will were in trouble.
"Shit. Um, OK, how about this, is there any way we can convince you not to kill us?" Will asked, backing away
from where he thought the noise had come from.
"Only if something else gets you." The voice said.
"Come on, we're just a couple of lost cheerleaders, no reason to do anything drastic." Will said. He could see
Gabe was also trying to back away from the voice.
"Drastic? I'm just protecting my woods. Exercising my right to property. Hunting the stupid beast that
wandered onto my land." The voice said.
"Gabe, I believe now is the time I teach you a very important lesson." Will said.
"What's that?" Gabe asked.
"If you can't beat something, there is only one solution." With that, Will took off running.
"Wait, what?" Gabe asked, turning to look where his companion had been.
"Tough luck." The killer said. Just then, a shot rang through the forest. Gabe's body slumped to the ground.
