The images showed humanoid aliens. In fact, they were remarkably similar to humans except that they look like lizard women who looks like an overgrown iguana mixed with a supermodel.
Then I saw a medical image of a naked alien and noticed another difference.
You can’t help but stare at her cleavage and long tail. I mean, the outfit really shows it nicely.
That explained why their clothes were so big.
"Is that what you are turning me into?"
The holographic blue cylinder said, "Correct."
"Is it safe? Have you done this before?"
"Previous attempts failed."
"Wait, you have tried this before and it didn't work. Is that what happened to those people who left the metal detectors?"
"Correct. Previous attempts failed to become a viable crew."
"You killed them?"
"Incorrect. Previous attempts live in sector Kxojsh."
"Show me."
The blue cylinder began to move and seemed to want me to follow.
It lead me to a room divided by a force field. On the other side of the force
field, I saw ten giant green alien tails.
They had giant green alien tails but there was nothing else.
Just giant green alien tails writhing around on the floor.
"Am I going to become one of those."
"Ship has identified problem with previous attempts and corrected it. The probability of success is 87.4902 percent."
As I thought about my odds of becoming a giant tail, I looked at my hand which had already started turning dark green.
