I had to escape. As long as the ship kept me prisoner, I didn't have much of a chance to remove the Genetic Key that the ship had implanted
inside me. How did the ship implant the Genetic Key inside me in the first place?
The ship was more functional than I had thought. Although there were holes in the shell, the ship had some way to move boulders and other
large objects so that every hole was blocked. I tried using the transporter panels but they only led me to other parts of the ship. Then the ship
turned the transporter panels off so I couldn't use them anymore. The ship was as large as a castle but the computer was everywhere blocking
off all possible escape.
I found what looked like a medical bay so I decided to give up the escape attempt but I wasn't about to give up the fight. I searched for
something that could help me.
"Ship has detected life forms of your species nearby. Initiating implant to add crew."
"Oh no." I turned to see the holographic blue cylinder behind me, "You're trying to transform my friends into aliens too, just like me."
"Correct."
"You can't do that."
"Ship will require minimal crew of three to return to base. Inquire, for what reason should crew not be completed."
"This genetic alteration, how do you know it will work on humans? Show me what this alteration will do."
The holographic blue cylinder displayed images of the aliens the ship was trying to change me into.
