"Charlotte," the bison sighed, "No offense. And I appreciate you telling Terry that you a right to find your own happiness, she wasn't acting quite like a reporter should in my humble opinion. But that last part there? That had to be one of the most arrogant things I've ever heard!"
Charlotte startled, "What?!"
"By that logic, those who are the most passionately against the exploitation of children are all child molesters! Or those who believe in being ruthless to criminals are all kleptomaniacs! You're generalizing!
"Just because someone is against something strongly doesn't mean they're secretly for it. And Terry from what I could tell wasn't trying to tell you against staying as you are. I think her main concern was you making a gift changing decisions without thinking it through. If being a she-wolf will make you happy, then there's no real argument against that. But assuming that everyone except the social outcasts are going to want to change species is arrogant. I'm happy you've found what you were missing before Charlotte, and if you can continue to be happy like this, I don't see why you should have to be changed back. But don't assume everyone else is incomplete until they try to be something besides an anthro-ape. Asexuals for example aren't interested in men or women, they simply live their lives. Or should they be 'cured' of who they are?"
"I… I apologize."
"It's not me you need to apologize towards. And you didn't say it to her face, so you apologizing to something she didn't hear would just stir the pot. And aren't you due to the changing station soon?"
"Yes I am." Would Naomi be there? There was only one way to find out.
"And Charlotte, I'm sorry, but I've just seen smugness and arrogance on both sides of the fence than you'd think. I don't like seeing in friends of mine. So how did Drake take your leaving?"
Drake had chosen to stay as a wolf during his vacations within the park rather than become a buck again, and had become a stable of the wolf pack during his visits.
"He said that he could find job for me at his company in security if I'd take it. It'll be interesting to see him without fur if anything.

In the years since the park's first wedding, the husky twins had effectively become their own mini-hive mind. Psychological tests showed they were perfectly stable and able to function in day to day life and were not prone to any neurotic or pathological behavior, and not being a threat to themselves or others, they were legally allowed to continue to work at Transformation Park USA. They weren't legally recognized as one person of course, but they didn't mind.
There had been numerous experiments (under the table of course) to try and replicate the shared identity the twins possessed, but nothing had bore fruit, and none of the identical twins changed at other parks had shown any of the same 'duel-self' behavior. Effectively, the twins were a fluke.
They were perfectly happy this way, having an inner balance between them that had been missing during their time separately.
"It's like we were two parts of the same soul all along, but simply never realized it." The two said at one point. Naturally this did NOT go over well with OTHER identical twins who found the idea of not being individuals insulting.
Zack, their husky boyfriend, for his part didn't mind, having gotten over his guilt and shock at double-dating them, the three were now a happy 'couple' in the park.
When he spotted Harry walking about in a daze, he had casually asked what the trouble was.
"Naomi going on vacation and made me acting Alpha."
Zack laughed. "HA! Good one!"
"I'm serious."
"Okay now Harry a joke's a joke."
"He's not joking." Naomi said walking past them.
Zack fainted into the arms of the twins.
