Simon grabs a towel and runs downstairs. He picks out the side window, and sees his dog Sparky scratching at the door. Simon opens the door to let Sparky in the house.
Sparky looks up with a start at the nearly naked man holding the door open for him. He smells like Simon, but he doesn't look right. Sparky growls and bares his teeth. Where's Simon? he wonders.
"Hey, Sparky, it's me Simon! Hey, how'd you like to be human, boy? C'mon."
Simon runs upstairs, Sparky follows the strange man who smells like Simon upstairs. He is ready to bite, if Simon isn't safe.
"But be for we start on you, let's finish me. I really don't feel comfortable with all this fur on my chest. Let's see, perhaps shaved look all over to emphasize my new muscles," he said typing on keyboard, "hehe, how about you stand next to me and we can be a matched set, boy?" Sparky just stared at him from the doorway. "That's okay, me first, and maybe some bigger muscles. Then you, Sparky!" He hit the enter key. An hour glass appeared, and in less than 60 seconds the additional alterations were done and the machine chimed.
Sparky cocked his ears as the hairy man became less hairy, and then his chest expanded, his arms and his thighs became beefier, and his head became nearly bald.Still wearing the dark green towel, Simon knelt next to his dog, and whispered, "It's your turn now."
He led Sparky by the collar to in front of the chronivac emitter.
Simon didn't have to worry about any interruptions, because his parents were gone for the weekend, and that his older brother pretty much gave him free range spending all his free time with his buds. He casually typed species human, and filled in the other pertinent details. Then he hit enter. Six minutes wait time, well it was interspecies, he guessed that took longer.
Patiently, Sparky sat and watched the strange man sitting in Simon's chair. The computer was humming strangely. The dog started as flashes of color appeared for the first time before it's eyes. At the same time, the scents were becoming muted, almost non-existent, what was happening to him?
