There really wasn't a term for the relationship between Jack and Greg. They both annoyed the other, but would go out of their way to help each other. They argued constantly about nearly everything under the sun, but were still on good terms. It was almost as if they were brothers, but they had no relation that they knew of and looked nothing alike. They'd known each other for years, having been roommates in college and had found them working for the same company, though doing very different things. They had come to Japan on a business trip, having gotten paired together despite both protesting. It had been up to them to find food and lodging for their weeklong stay and Greg had demanded that he'd be the one making the reservations stating that he didn't trust Jack to not book them in some roach motel. After 5 minutes of arguing with each other over who was better at making such decisions, Jack revealed that he had no desire to put the effort into the reservations and was simply defending his ability to find a place to stay. This was their relationship in a nut shell.
Their current argument material was on the nature of the hotel.
"And why is it we are staying in a place that looks like an anime convention hall?"
"Because the relationship between the cost and the quality has reportedly been the best for the last 5 years. I felt that it being a themed resort didn't matter."
"We're here because of your anime girl fetish, aren't we."
"For the last time, I don't have one!"
"Your room says otherwise."
"Har har."
"Good evening! Welcome to our humble establishment!"
The energetic voice of the receptionist immediately stopped their argument.
"Ah, thank you. I made some reservations; they should be under Greg Peterson."
"Just a moment please."
She quickly pulled up the reservation information with a few button clicks.
"Here we are! One room suite with two Queen sized beds, correct?"
"Ye-"
"Wait a minute! One room?"
"Yes one room, I felt it'd reflect poorly on us if we wasted company funds unnecessarily."
"Paying for an extra room wouldn't kill them."
"Fine, if you're going to make a fuss about it..." Greg turned back to the anime'esc woman behind the counter.
"I'm terribly sorry, but we don't have any more rooms available. It's a rather busy time of year, you see."
Greg glanced at Jack, who simply grumbled.
"Would you like some help with your bags?" Fukomi held in her giggle as she handed the pair the keys to their room.
"No, we got it."
Jack stormed off as Greg quickly trailed after.
The young woman smiled on as they left, "Quite the pair those two, they'll make excellent sisters."
Just as she'd done for her last guests, she quickly began to draw up their new forms.
First she started with the 'older' sister. The girl appeared to be in the neighborhood of 9 or 10, a pair of glasses perched on her tiny nose. Her dark hair flowed out from the hood that she had pulled up, which casted slight shadows over her cute face. The hood belonged to a black cloak that covered up an intricate dress that came almost to her knees. On her feet a pair of dark boots that completed her look. Clasped demurely in front, her gloved hands held a long metal staff; a large crystal held in an ornate design topped it.
She followed the picture up with a brief character description.
Name: Gracia
Age: 11
Personality: level headed and dedicated to furthering her education, and ensuring her twin sister does the same. She is confident in most things, with her appearance being one of the exceptions; she doesn't like how much smaller she is then her twin. She spends most of her free time either studying and experimenting with her magic or doing research on the twin’s enemies. She detests physical activity.
Fukomi nodded in satisfaction at her latest creation and moved on to the ‘younger’ sister. In contrast to her sister, this girl was well on her way to starting puberty, already having an appreciable figure in addition to being nearly a head taller. Her bright blond hair was in a pixie cut lending a slight tomboyish air to her appearance. Her outfit was reminiscent of leather armor and possessed metal boots and gauntlets. A small white cape fluttered behind her as she held aloft a sword far too large for a girl her age, extra development notwithstanding. Overall her colors were brighter, consisting mostly of whites and silvers.
Name: Jessica
Age: 11
Personality: Energetic and emotional. She has a great desire to do things and can’t stand staying still. She’s active in sports giving her a fit body with some early muscle development. Her spare time is often spent practicing with her sword or thinking about boys. Often tries to get her sister to do things with her, sometimes even resorting to physically overpowering her smaller and weaker sibling in order to get her to go outside.
When she finished writing the room number down on the back of each paper, Fukomi had one of the cat girl staff bring the pictures to the soon to be Magical Girls’ room. She only grinned happily at the thought of her guests as the bellhop scurried to one of the elevators.
