"We're not letting Gabe rot in a cell." Rebeca said.
"Fine. How do we bust him out then?" Will asked.
"Oh please, the security around here is mall cop level stupid, and you have enough men and firepower to start a war. It won't be that hard." Rebeca said.
"Alright then. I'll call up some of my guys and we'll get going. But first," Will said, pulling out his weapon stash, "how about we get some of that firepower you were talking about?"
"Ooh, a man after my own heart." Rebeca said, picking up a sniper rifle and an automatic pistol.
"Quickest way to a girl's heart is through her chest." Will said, earning a glare from Rebeca.
"I kid, I kid." Will said, grabbing an assault rifle and serrated bayonet.
"Sir, is everything okay in there?" A soldier asked, knocking on the door.
"Perfect timing. Yes major, we're fine. However, could you and the lieutenants come in here?" Will asked. Moments later, three armored soldiers appeared in the doorway.
"Sir?" One of them asked.
"There's been a change of plans. I have received word that the supposed criminal security just apprehended is of importance to us. We need to get him out, and off this ship." Will said.
"Break a criminal out of jail?" A lieutenant asked.
"Trust me boys, I know it sounds a bit shaky, but this is the kind of thing you'll get medals for if we make it out of this." Will said.
"And her?" The major asked, motioning toward Rebeca.
"Lady Constanzia is a VIP, and is to be treated with respect." Will said.
"Because if you don't she'll put holes in you." Will whispered to the major with a smirk. The major had a noticeably different expression.
"One of my bodyguards is holed up across from the detention cell. He can lead us right to the Magos." Rebeca said.
"In that case, second lieutenant, you can go back to your quarters." Will said, prompting one of his men to exit. Rebeca pulled Will off to the side.
"Why did you send him off?" Rebeca said in a hushed voice.
"You heard Gabe, crew of you and four crew members." Will said.
"We'll need all the help we can get." Rebeca said.
"Listen, I'm all for breaking the rules, but when the sprite starts doing it, I say we follow everything to the letter. We might be able to use it against our 'dear friend' later." Will said.
"Fine, whatever, just follow me." Rebeca said, walking out the door.
"Are you sure about this sir?" The major asked.
"Mostly." Will shrugged, following Rebeca out.
