Back in Janice the phone rang, Charlie had answered. "Hello?" shi said. "Sally. How are..."
shi rubbed his head. "No, Midnight went to Egypt, with the FBI. Reports of another outbreak hit Cairo. I'll have Jess look into the animal thing." shi said. "I love you dear." he hung up the phone and asked Jess who just came in. "Can you figure out why animals are changing now?"
Jess smiled. "Certainly." Shi turned and went out, running some tests. "Sorry Ryles." Shi injected him with hir bood after taking a sample of the original. In minutes Ryles began to change. In thirty hir change was done, Jess took another sample. There shi examined them. Shi had a theory behind it. Shi looked up. "Well, that's startling news." Shi grabs hir phone and calls Sally. "Sis, I figured it."
Shi waited then spoke. "The vaccine acts to them the way the virus does us. So in theory the virus could very well be their vaccine."
Shi rubbed hir head. "Well, think about it like this. The dna from Ryles was altered with human and other animal dna. Therefore what paralyzes the virus in us, changes them. In theory, what changed us would paralyze the changing chromosome in the vaccine on them."
"I know it sounds complicated but Snowy would be able to figure it out."

Meanwhile, Midnight had arived in Cairo. Though shi is twelve years, shi was still able to help. But it was as hir fears held. Sydney had been a diversion. For here in Cairo, the Kats were lustfilled and on top of that, some were violent. Shi looked around. "I have a feeling that this will prove challenging." Shi walked with the officer who had became a foxkat.
"Relax Midnight. We'll figure it out. Jess has told me she's been mentoring you in medical and chemical stuff." Shi said. "You're smart."
Midnight looked at hir. "You remind me of my uncle." Shi giggled walking along.
"Speaking of whom, I've been doing a side investigation to trace some family. I know Sally adopted you, but if we can find your remaining family, then they'll know you're safe."
Midnight and the officer made their way to the hotel, which was outside the infected area.
