...pair of strap on elf ears. That's it. No tunic. No body paint. No contacts or wig. Just a pair of elf ears that look like they slip over yours. Which you find yourself doing as you browse around the aisles of costumes. It's a few minutes later that you feel...weird. Not bad, just strange. Like your ears are lightly tingling. Pulling yourself to the mirror you can see how the ears are clearly sticking out of your head, looking almost natural. You reach up to flick one and...OW! That kind of hurts!
"What the hell?" you mutter, feeling your fingers on the pointy ears. Sensitive things! They're somewhat similar to the things Lord of the Rings elves have. Except these seem real. And rather attached to your head.
Your head turns, quickly, as you hear approaching footsteps. The woman from before looking at you. "Well, I imagine you need some help?"
"Uh...yeah...I do." You cough a little, tugging on the ears. "They seem to have uh..."
"Oh, that's normal, don't worry about it." She waves it off, beginning to take your arm and leading you somewhere. You want to get away but you can't.
"W-where are you taking me? What's going on?!" you're trying to protest now. And failing. The woman smiles at you and points at what looks like a much more complete elf costume.
"We're going to need to get you dressed up. Now, you're going to be a lovely..."
