"Okay, you've shrunk me, turned me into shoes and a book. I doubt there isn't anything the ring can't do. I mentioned in the library that I've thought about being invisible in high school. Most girls wanted to be noticed, but I wanted to disappear. I was attractive, but I spent my time reading and working in the library. Surprise, huh?" she laughed.
"It wasn't easy to tell the guys to buzz off?" I asked.
"Not really. I was also on the swim team, so pictures of me in a bathing suit showed up quite often. We took state several years. Well, the school newspaper once and awhile gave the guys something to ogle for days. Yet, I loved swimming and tolerated it. There were times I wanted to just hide away, especially when I could tell what the guys wanted," she remembered.
"Boys will be boys. I know when I first saw you, I thought you were quite attractive," he confessed.
"Yes, but you're a lot more mature then they were," she noted.
I blushed. "Thanks. I believe in the Golden Rule in Luke, Chapter 6, 'Do unto others as you would have others do unto you' as Jesus taught His disciples. Everyone should have that as a guiding principle in life. Of course, everyone should know Jesus is the Son of God and come to Him for salvation," Joe started to preach.
"Joe, I'm glad you believe in that and Him. I do, too," she replied. "Just don't make that ring become your god," she advised.
"Amanda, the ring has tremendous power and holds a lot of temptation. Perhaps that's why the lady gave it to me? She knew I could handle it or it's a test for me."
"Joe, you're getting too serious. Let's have some fun with it. I have an idea," she giggled.
"Oh, and what is that?"
