They spotted a hand waving in the sea of tables and spotted them in the middle of the court. Linda grabbed Ty's hand and led them over.
They were sitting in order, Elane, Cristin, Ally, Joice and Tiffany. Each had a different outfit on, Elane wearing her cheerleader uniform, Cristin wearing a jean vest over her white shirt, her jeans covered in earth and green, Joice wearing a summer yellow sweater and a brown skirt, Ally wearing a dark pink shirt and short jeans, and Tiffany wearing a long sleeved black shirt, a blue skirt, black stockings and a blue beret.
"Hey guys! Glad to see you".
"How'd you get here!?" Ally asked, "I was looking over their earlier and didn't see anyone!"
"I just got here", Linda said, "Gals, this is Ty. He goes to the same school as us".
"Ty?" Ally asked, and all five looked at Ty, whom merely waved his hand.
"Oh! He's in my English class", Joice murmured appreciatively, "Always in the back, though".
"What took you so long, Linda?" Tiffany asked, slurping on an Icee, "We've been waiting for almost ten minutes before you showed up".
Linda paused for a bit before replying, "I...was trying to invite Ty to come with me. He can be so hard to get to motivate sometimes".
Ty looked at her, left eyebrow cocked. Linda stared back sheepishly.
"Whatever", Elane said, "It's nice to meet you Ty, but I don't know why you came. Most boys would be bored by where we go shopping".
"I think I can handle it", Ty said, "I've had some practice".
"Ooh, a challenge then?" Tiffany asked, "I don't know, gals. Ty could be useful. With the list I need from the hobby shop, we'll be carrying a lot of things".
"Yeah, we're doing a production of "Little Shop of Horrors"! And boy oh boy, do we need a lot of green fabric", Ally said, hopping up and down in her seat.
"Do you mind taking some of our bags, Ty?" Tiffany asked.
"I don't mind" Ty replied.
"Excellent! Girls, let us go at once, we haven't a moment to lose". And with that Tiffany arose and proceeded to throw her cup away. The others followed, Linda and Ty behind, Linda making a crinkling sound as she walked.
