“What’s going on, what’s happened to me?” You demand to the girls. Looking at them, you now notice their ears are pointed and sticking outward slightly. “What are you?”
“Well…” The blue haired one said. She looked at the other, and both of them turned to the side. They both took a short breath and held it. Suddenly, somewhat broad, insect-like wings; slightly shimmering in the pastel hue of their hair; grew out from their backs.
“Fairies!?” You say as you back up into a sitting position on the bed.
“Yes, we’re fairies.” The blue haired fairy said. “All three of us.”
”That’s why we need you to declare your name.” Spoke the purple-headed fairy. “It finalizes your entry into fairy society.”
“What if I don’t want to be a fairy?” you say.
“That’s impossible at this point,” The purple-haired fairy said, “like it or not, you’re one of us.”
“But, like she said, it’s lots of fun.” The other remarked. “I know, sprout your wings! Once you know the joy of flight, I’m sure you’ll turn around.”
“A word of warning,” the purple haired fairy said. “the first time is slow and difficult because your body hasn’t gotten used to it yet.”
