The teams on the east coast had wrapped things up, and for the time being the President was residing in Janace until things settled down in Washington. Brent looked at the expert and she appoligized for the miss information. She was in accurate, Scorpions didn't have that, particularly the species shi is resembling. Shi was relieved but yet at same time worry hit. Shi would be able to handle the little kat, who was sleeping in hir arms, and five others but twenty others. Shi did say shi'd take them all, so shi won't back out but shi didn't know how to.
Kila, who was Brent's adopted daughter seemed to be comfortable sleeping on hir back as shi stayed in hir spot. Finally Elise walked up to hir and smiled. "Cute little kitten." Shi petted the little one.
Brent looked. "Yeah, shi is. We found more and they'll be going to the orphanage. Fortunate that we came along"
"Indeed. Uh, Brent, when we get back, if you're not doing anything, would you like to..." Shi looked.
"Get a bit, a drink? Sure. I was gonna ask you but we were busy and..."
At this Elise giggled. "Of course." Shi smiled and sat beside Brent, the expert moving to sit with the Secretary of Defense.
Sally and Charlie had gotten word that some of the children would be going to Hawaii, After Midnight going to Cairo, they were a little more prepared, however as soon as they get back they would relax. They had one of the scientists in custody, which was good news, meant there were either three or four left, then this business with the outbreaks would be finished, or so they hoped.
Justin and Janace, along with Francine had been chatting. "So dear, what did you find in Antarctica, you mentioned surviving in a cave."
"Well, I found something that, well I though was the cold messing with me. Apparently, there's thermal heat there keeping some life under, and deep under the ice I mean, alive. But not enough to sustain us. More like small organisms. But I wager, if we go deeper we'll find more, but I'm not going back, EVER!" She said and was sticking to it.
Justin laughed. "Okay, okay. No one's making you return."
Francine smiled, "You know, you two still act as if you're married."
Justin looked over. "Oh no, you should've seen..."
"Shush, Justin." Shi said. "I'm picking."
It had seem Francine and Janace both became best friends, and seeing as Justin was no longer human, shi couldn't tell Francine any secrets. So for the remainder of the flight they stayed to themselves.
Casey Jones was feeling better, after the talks, but remained seperated from the rest. Shi didn't mean to do what shi did, and forgave hirself, however, shi knew it'd be stuck with hir forever. The fact shi devoured hir mate would haunt hir, but shi had to move on. Raul and Maria were resting in each other's arms. "This is the last mission for us, Maria, love."
"I agree. We need to stay home." Shi said.
"No. Maria, look. We are no longer going to continue that. I'm serious. I am handing in my full retirement letter, as should you. We want a peaceful life, we're going to get it. I retired from the military so I could be with you, and dammit, I'm going to." He said. "I didn't become this foxtaur to go doing missions. I did it because I love you." He said.
Maria smiled. "Okay, love, don't get fired up." Shi said. Shi was relieved to hear him say that, reguardless of what he felt about the taurs, he became one just for hir, and that's what brought hir closer to him. "I'll retire too. But, should they need us..." Shi pointed to the rest, "Oh a mission or what ever..."
"Maria, I don't leave my friends in the dirt. If they need our help on anything they know they can count on us. But as for the work for the governments. You know, China finally accepted Gloria's resignation? Shi is no longer working for them, nor anyone else, shi is fully retired from that. All shi and Sammy do is stay around Janace and if need, they watch the little ones. We need to do that. I know if they needed, they'd be right on a mission now. But what I mean is, let's severe ourselves from the services of the governments and enjoy life."
Maria smiled. "Okay dear." Shi said and kissed him on the nose.
Nikole and Luna were sitting beside each other, Lia with hir and Jess on the other side of Nikole. The lot were happy to be heading home. Lia looked at Janace. "So what now? Do we go to Hawaii?"
"I don't know dear, but what I do know is we go home, get a debrief and relax, just hope those there can handle and wait until we are needed."

Hours had gone by as Charles, Casey, and Ryles all were now on their way back to Janace. Fortunately the airlines had agreed to prevent further outbreaks all air travel in the world would be shut down until the remaining scientists had called. They arrived in Janace at about ten minutes before the others, which was surprising. Charles was now lying in the recovery room when the group had arrived. Casey looked at Charlie and Brent as shi waited to greet them. Charlie looked at hir. "What?"
"We found him. Your dad." Casey said. "He's in recovery now."
Charlie and Brent both made a beeline into the recovery room. Charlie knelt down to his dad and held his hand, Brent on the other side as he slept. Casey walked in. "He's in a coma, not a bad one, but one to help him recover."
Charlie and Brent both stayed there.
