"Hmm..." Megan reached out to the stacks of cards and picked a Time Card, she read it aloud "You may choose to roll again, but you will lose a year if you do" she frowned and looked at Alex "What does that mean?"
Alex shrugged "No idea, but why don't you take your turn"
Shrugging, Megan rolled the dice, and scored a 6, moving forward again, and landing on a clear space. She shuddered, feeling a tingling sensation pass over her body briefly. She was about to shrug it off, but then noticed the eyes of everyone else staring at her with surprise.
"Megan, are you ok?" Cathy asked with a concerned tone to her voice.
"Yeah" Megan started to feel a little scared "Why wouldn't I be?"
"Because you just lost a year of age" Mark said bluntly. Glancing at a nearby mirror, Megan found that was indeed the case, She did in fact look a little younger, more or less as she had been just after her 10th birthday. She gave a weak smile, glad that she hadn't lost any more than a year. Once the commotion of the incident had died down, and all attempts at getting out of the game on Alex's behalf had resulted in finding that some ethereal force had locked all of the exits, they returned to the game, where it was Stella's turn. Nervously, she rolled the dice out onto the board, resulting in 12, which moved her forwards.
"Does anything happen if I get a 12?", she asked.
"Yes, I believe it does" Alex said, looking into the rule book "It seems that if you have to pick a card, it affects the person to your left or right, as opposed to you"
"Left or Right?"
"You choose before you draw the card"
"Ah" Stella said "In that case, I choose Mark"
"Shit..." Mark cursed.
"Really?! In front of a little girl"
"It doesn't exactly matter" Alex smirked "She's heard a lot worse from her friends, believe me"
Staring slightly at this, Stella picked up a Body Card, as that had been the space she'd landed on.
"Gas" Stella read the card "That is all"
"What does that even-" Mark was cut off as an earsplitting fart erupted from his bowels, causing him to blush intensly, and everyone else to burst out laughing. Luckily, this appeared to be a one time thing.
Then it was Mark's turn...
