As I stepped into the office, Joe looked up at me from behind his desk. "You took your time, Danielle," he stated, matter-of-factly.
"I'm sorry, Sir," I answered. "What can I do for you?"
"Come, sit down," he said, motioning to the simple wooden chair beside his desk. Not the comfortable office chair beside it - that was reserved for people above my current station, I realized. He looked at me as I walked over, drinking in my swaying moves, with a gaze that made my knees tremble with an excited apprehension. For a moment, our eyes met, and he grinned. I felt my face flush, and instantly averted my eyes downward for the remaining distance to the chair.
I sat down and crossed my legs instinctively, before daring to look back up at him. "I have a meeting with one of the Stollmann executives, Mr. Partridge, in half an hour. You've cleared the rest of the day for me, right?" I nodded, the memory of doing so forming in my mind as he asked. "Good. I need you to be here for it. Take notes, help me seal the deal. He has an eye for you, so I expect you to show him some special attention." Did he mean... no, he probably just meant being flirty. Mr. Partridge was a married man. A very handsome married man, stern and decisive, just like Joe. Maybe...
"And before he arrives, I'll need to relieve some stress." My thoughts were interrupted as I heard him unzip his pants. "Come over here."
