Your mind thumped with purpose as you uncontrollably fly towards the source of the scent. Your waking mind isn't even really there; the instincts being so compelling that your mind is overrun by unwelcome thoughts. Such as "MUST FIND DELICIOUS SMELLING MALE." repeating in your head like a mantra. Your conscious mind snaps in and out of focus, where you attempt to avoid the influence of the smell, but those thoughts are instantly replaced by thoughts of "MUST FIND MALE." Atleast it was taking you in the right direction!
Finally, you obediently start fluttering slower and slower as you approach the male, staring at him lustfully as your body aches to find the source of the smell. The creature resembled you in nearly ever way...except that it's male, of course. And for a bee, it was surprisingly well hung...and you find yourself eyeing his crotch in a way that sent your insect mind wild, but your human mind terrified. This was the source of the smell? This things pheromones were powerful enough to override any rational thought you had. How could you possibly account for this? Was Grendy watching?
Realizing that, thank god, you were out of control of the smell for atleast a little bit, you attempt to say the words you need to say and hopefully get the hell out of here. "Uh..." you begin, and notice something: you're not speaking. Your antannae are twitching subconsciously, and you can...somehow perceive your signals as words. I guess it comes with being an insect? "Hello, Mr...ohhh...hottie..." you 'say', barely realizing that you'd said it. The smell was intoxicating, and his dick was so...christ, what? You're panging for bee dick? That smell was like mind control. You had to finish this up. Despite the feelings, you notice that the male hasn't spoken a word since you've arrived, and has merely stared at you lustily. You gulp, and continue. "I was wondering if...a hot, sexy male like yourself...would like to...c...come with me to the stars and...fffUck an alien space queen to save a dying race?" you finish, realizing the way you'd spoken was quite unintentionally sexual. Regardless, the male simply looked at you, not 'speaking' a word. Shit...maybe these creatures aren't sentient? That seems like a strange thing to think, but maybe...
Suddenly, you notice his antennae begin twitching in a similar manner and, defying all of your known methods of understanding, you interpret his message...
