"That's a bit better," Frank said, "I'd still like a few more mushrooms, maybe some hummingbirds, but it's a good start! Now... what else do we have to deal with?" She flew over and looked at the state of the board. "Ooh, that's right! You're my big lovesick elven buddy right now, aren't you! Let's see what we can do about that... for starters, let's show off the goods, shall we? Get that shirt off. We want that fine little lady to see that svelte little elven torso of yours, OK? Past that, I'll need a little more magic to really help things along..."
Frank upended the whole bag of pixie dust over her head, fluttering her wings and giggling. "Now then..." she said, pushing her piece over to the space Charley had landed on. "Defeat the beast and claim the fallen warrior to do with as you will... I don't even need the dice with all this!" she said, then flew down to crawl up the leg of his pants... Alex hoped she was doing something to deal with the poison. Once she reemerged, she said, "OK... I'm going to need a little help from you on this, so head over this way, won't you?"
Alex wasn't sure how to react to any of this, but the plants growing through the room were keeping him oddly calm, and he was a bit curious how he'd look with all the weight gone. He removed his shirt, and while he was at it, folded up the clothes Frank was clearly no longer in need of, setting them all aside on a disused shelf. Moving towards Charley and Frank, he read the text of the next space. "A friendly pixie has decided to help with your love life. If your Charm is less than 6, she teaches you to play the pipes, increasing your Charm by 1."
"Oh yeah, here!" said Frank, with a little shiver as the dust took effect. Now looking nothing at all like the wiry young man who'd originally sat down at the table, she pulled a pan flute from behind a thickening vine, and handing it to Alex. "I guess Ben and Carmen are on their way back now, but we have plenty of time for you to practice those before your next turn... I still have some work to do with Charley and that venom though... I think you're going to appreciate the results!" She moved her piece a couple spaces closer to Alex, and looked at her bag. "Oh dear, seems I'm out... but wait!" Setting the bag down on the table and vigorously shaking her wings, she managed to refill the bag entirely, before dumping it over her head once again.
"Take your power over the forest to the next level. If you can roll a 50 on a single die, you may take all you possess and enter the forest for real." Frank carelessly tossed a die over her shoulder, and began gathering her things. Shoving what gold tokens she had into her dust sack, and tucking her character card under one arm (changed yet again to label her the mischievous pixie), she flew over to give Alex a kiss on the nose. "I'll see you later!" she said, before packing away Charley's card and tokens, and somehow, despite her small size, lifted him to his feet and pulled him behind one of the thicker vines.
Alex nodded, distracted by the pan pipes he was quickly learning his way around. When it finally sank in that he was alone, he took a moment to search the area. There was no sign at all of where Frank had gone, but once again, he wasn't too concerned. He could already hear the laughter of young love as Ben and Carmen approached the door. It seemed the three of them each had a turn before the delightful Dave would return to take hers. Charley and Frank, it seemed, would return when the board saw fit to allow it. A quick glance showed most spaces in the forest made some mention of a pixie now.
