As Bets walked carefully through the changing areas she was almost completely out of it, still embarrassed by her little accident. However she was brought back into reality when she heard a familiar giggle, Bets looked up to one of the lockers and quickly hid behind in the showers where she could still see her by peaking out the opening.
"It can't be, not now!" Bets thought to herself but she could clearly see her, she was just taking off her pink socks and already had her lavender swimsuit on, she had already removed the braided pigtails from her brown hair, she was humming song that Bets guessed to be a theme song of one of her stupid shows because Bets knew she'd heard it a million times, It was Bets's five year old sister Kelly.
"What the Hell is she doing here?" Bets asked herself then she remembered it was Wednesday, every Wednesday, following her Kindergarten class, Kelly would carpool with eight year old Molly (who was on the Center's junior swimming team) and her mother Cassandra from the neighborhood to the Aquatic Center for swimming lessons.
Now Bets knew she was in real trouble, Kelly was (in Bets opinion) obsessed with babies, she always had to have the latest baby doll and she carried the things around with everywhere she went (as Bets looked into Kelly's locker she could see Kelly's latest doll "Crying Karen" gently lying on top of Kelly's backpack perhaps supposed to be taking a nap), and whenever Kelly came across a baby (like on outings with mom to the store) she would always absolutely have to coo over it (when she was three she even had a habit of trying to buy the babies off their parents), she was always trying to convince Bets's parents to have another baby, every few months she would go to her parents and talk about how great having a baby would be, and sometimes following these "talks" (and her parents saying no) Bets (much to her annoyance) was forced to play baby with Kelly. It was always the same thing, after her parents told Kelly they would not be having anymore children Kelly would seclude herself in her room, then mom would come to Bets room and convince, bribe, or black mail Bets into humoring Kelly "for a few minutes" then Bets would have to slip a diaper over her jeans and spend "a few minutes" pretending to be a baby for Kelly, and those "few minutes" had a habit of taking up the entire day. The bottom like is Kelly really like babies and if she saw Bets like this Bets would never get a moments peace, not with Kelly always over her shoulder checking her diaper. And God forbid if Rebecca ever found out about Kelly there was a good chance Bets would never get changed back!
"I've just gotta get passed her and find Rachel before Becky does" said Bets after a moment she just realized "did I just say "gottta" and did I just call Bec... no Rebecca "Becky?" she asked herself but she shook her head, a simple slip of the tongue, she hoped.
In any matter Bets waited until Kelly was wrapped up in finding her towel to try to sneak past her sister she was almost beyond Kelly's sight when suddenly another little girl came charging from the other way "out of the way Shrimp!" she said as she pushed Bets right in front of Kelly! Kelly looked down at Bets before she spoke...
