It had been several years when one evening the phone rang in the Tall Man's small apartment. "Lonnie is this you?" asked a familiar voice.
"This is Mister unknown number four, I wish you to come and visit me!" said the voice of one of the Tall man's helper's.
"Where are you?" asked Lonnie.
"I'm, I be in the DeBelle Race Track stable number six, please come to me!" begged number four man of the unknown.
Lonnie agreed and after some long drive into the city's far West side he parked his car near stable number six. Walking and looking about the stable area was void of anyone but horses.
"I'm here!" said Lonnie out loud.
His voice echoed the barns and stables as a faint voice called him to door number 17. A peering look inside saw one large mare and in the straw covered floor a dark figure with bright blue eyes.
"It's me, down here!" said that familiar voice.
A flick of the light switch showed what Lonnie might never of imagined. In the straw lay a colt of the mare which stood above. yet it was all white of hair and hide. Blue eyes looked back to Lonnie as it began to mouth perfect sounding words.
"I got drunk after losing a big race bet! Remember my oath, to run faster than those chasing me and to mix into my surroundings, well that's about how it happened till I stepped into the Breeding barn. The loan sharks were hot on my heals and the words still hung on my lips as I'd told of our rescue and the Medallion. Then I was scared of those men and wished to mix and hide in my surroundings. Suddenly all went black and in my thoughts I thought I'd been caught, wrong! I had weird dreams and then one day I saw a ray of bright light touch me eyes. I inched toward the light, then someone grabbed my wrists and yanked me into the light. I found myself born a Albino colt of this mare! I suckle her for food, drink from that bucket like she does! Worse yet I speak and think as myself, but now live as this colt soon to be yearling and then stallion. Forgive me my friend but I told them about you and if they found your phone number they will be after you too!" explained the young but bright colt.
Lonnie shook his head and thought about asking the Medallion a hard question. After saying their good bye, Lonnie returned to his apartment. In a floor hold below his bedroom floor was the Medallion of Change.
"Wearing the Medallion Lonnie asked, "Medallion show me the record book to which you have recorded those changed by you since your birth!"
