Lilia had just gotten back home from a hard day at the office.
Setting her suitcase down, she collapsed in a heap on her bed.
"Another day is finally over!" she said, tired "Now I can be myself again!"
As she relaxed, her nose popped into a small red ball, her lips became red, and stretched into a big smile, her skin turned chalk white, her eyebrows became high-arched black lines, her eyelashes lengthened, black freckles appeared on her face on her cheeks, her ears became bigger, her blonde hair became bright yellow, being shaped like a pineapple, her breasts became bigger, her hips widened out, and her feet grew huge! Thanks to her magic, her clothes had stretched out to fit her so they wouldn't be ruined.
Lilia was just her human name - her real name was Tootie Fruity.
You see, she came from a long line of real clowns who'd come to Earth hundreds of years ago.
Through a combination of science and magic, clowns like her could pass as humans, but it put a great deal of strain on them - she would not be able to be human again until tomorrow morning - just in time to get ready for work.
She'd told her parents a long time ago she never wanted a career in clowning like them - she wanted a serious job, and so against all odds, she worked until she had gotten the job she had today!
Everything was fine, until she felt a vibrating from her pocket.
She got out her phone, and read the text:
"Hey Lilia, I know you just got off work, but I'm here to pick you up for our night together. I'm in the car right outside your place. Please don't keep me waiting."
"Doh!" she smacked herself in the forehead, speaking in her helium voice which was her normal voice as a clown "How could I forget?! This is a deeee-saster! What the honk am I gonna do-be-do? How am I gonna explain this? Word will get outie, and my life will be done and doner! Sure I can turn other folks into clowns to keep 'em shushed, but I really didn't want to come to this - not with my _________!!! Oh well, I suppose the honest-to-goofy truth had to come out sooner or later! I guess I'd better get this over with! She waddled to the door dressed for the night-out, but with who?
