“First, you’re a bit too big;” the fairy answered, “second, my kind generally does not trust males. Some... adjustments must be made.”
You don’t quite like the sound of that; but before you can object, you get a lungful of fairy dust from the sudden plume blown at your face from the pursed lips of the fairy.
As you cough and sputter, the dust swirls around you and you feel yourself shrinking. Stranger still, you feel your body reshaping itself. Your face rounds out and your hair grows slightly. Your hips widen and waist narrows as your arms lose mass and your hands and feet become more slender.
Mercifully, your clothing seems to be adapting to your changes; even clearing dirt and stains as well as repairing tears caused by your fall. Your boxers even turn into panties as your manhood retreats, and your shirt makes room for your slowly expanding chest.
When the spell finally finishes, you look down at your female body and sigh in exasperation, saying “Of course” surprised at your feminine voice.
“I think you look cuter this way;” the fairy said; but as you shoot a glare at her, she continues; “but don’t worry, this’ll only be temporary, half a day tops, unless I end the spell early, or cast an upkeep spell, if necessary. After that, you’ll be back to your old self again.”
The fairy flits behind you, grabs you beneath the armpits and lifts you up into the air. Startled by how high you are; you start to squirm. “Are… are you sure you can carry me like this?” you nervously ask.
“We may look delicate, but we can lift over twice our body weight. At least, as long as you stop fidgeting.”
You calm down as best you could as the fairy sets you down on a walkway. It was like a bridge made of tightly entangled tree branches. You look around and see a sprawling village built right into the trees; or perhaps, grown out of them, somehow. It was populated by a multitude of winged figures gently glowing in all sorts of colors, some flying, others walking. Some were holding hands, walking together, laughing, talking, holding hands, even showing signs of affection; but one thing you also notice; they were all female. “No wonder they don’t trust men. When your entire race is female, I guess men seem kinda… alien almost.”
“We’re just not as used to multiple genders as most races. We like to keep to ourselves, mostly. Turning you into a girl at least makes everyone more comfortable around you. Even still, keep close to me; even a female human can get into trouble here.”
“You said you can take me to someone who can help me get home, who is it, anyway?”
