You wake up groggy the next morning, having spent a fitful night. Every new scent drew you out of your slumber, and since you have no prior experience with being able to pick up such odors, nearly every scent is a new one. You long for the simplicity of life before your nose turned canine.
You don't bother showering and cleaning up, since you know you cannot go outside looking like this. Instead, you plop down in front of the television with your morning cereal. Your new nose isn't enthralled by the scent, but you refuse to acknowledge it. You grab the remote and turn on the TV, which happens to be on the news network.
"...and just leaked this morning, the world of high fashion is going to the dogs. That's right, the word is out that a world-famous fashion designer has decided to make a unique statement at the runway show in Paris this week; all of his models will be wearing make-up and prostheses that imitate the nose of a dog. This decision, of course, has not come without it's fair share of controversy, especially amongst women's rights groups..."
You cannot believe what you have just heard. What are the chances of something like this happening? You wonder if one of the models has a real dog nose, and that is the reason, but you doubt it. Why would a fashion designer go out of his way for a model? Could it be the fashion designer himself? You doubt that either one of these is the answer. In fact, you begin to suspect that maybe one of your BOD-ified candles has found its way into the nostrils of someone rather important. After all, what better way to make dog noses seem normal than to introduce them as a fashion accessory?
"...but the criticized designer insists it is rather a showing of solidarity with the animal rights movement. In fact, he is encouraging others to sport their own fake dog noses this week as a show of support.."
Could this be true? You could actually act like everything is normal and go about your business, and just pretend that you are supporting animal rights and some designer you have never heard of?
