Sure, Ty was sad his birth parents died in a car accident. But somehow resurrecting them, or rather preventing their death, didn't feel right to him. And he knew with certainty that, in this new reality, he will be happy with the Dubois. It wasn't guaranteed he will be with his others parents.
That said, his new life still got room for improvement.
First, he wished his dad, Mark Dubois, to have a well paid job he will love. Paid well enough to let them have a far bigger house. Both Dustin and Ty now got a room that, alone, was two times the size of Dustin's old one. That alone wouldn't be that extravagant, but he also made each of them have a walk-in closet they can dress in and their own individual bathrooms.
Their parents bedroom got the same treatment, becoming two time it's old size. June and Mark also got two dressings similar to their children's, (one being June's and the other Mark's) but shared the same bathroom.
For good measure, Ty added a more luxurious shared bathroom with a jacuzzi in it, and two guest-bedrooms, making them the size of his old one.
Being finished with the second floor, he began working on the first one.
To start, he willed the dining room and living room to truly be to separate room, instead of two separate spaces of the same room. The dining room was now big enough to have some guest for dinner. Ty then willed to be the perfect home-cinema, with perfect acoustic and enough space to let Dustin and he watch TV with all their friends or play Wii with their parents.
The kitchen become a luxurious one, well equipped and large enough to let everyone cook together if they so wished.
He then ended his work by adding a little working room, so June and Mark can take care of themselves.
"Something isn't right with our new home…" Said Ty, thinking out-loud, alone in his new room. And he rapidly knew why: To have a house that big and luxurious, Mark needed to be quite wealthy. But Ty didn't want Dustin, nor his new himself, to be spoiled rotten, so he altered some of his previous changes.
He wished his dad company to have acted very differently than any other during the sub-prime crisis. It's director and main stockholder choose to use it as a pretext to relocate his production in America. That decision would have pleased the company founder, his grand-father, who always wanted to produce as much as possible were he was selling his goods. But the others stockholders weren't pleased at all! They sold all their parts in the company, who do fell down in on the share market.
The price rapidly came down to $0.50 for one share. That prompted some of it's staff to buy them in the hope to save the company, and so their job. For good measure, these employees even decided that to give fifty cents more to the company for each share of it they bought. They also renounced any prime they will got.
Paradoxically, said corporation still gained money. In fact, when news of it's workforce seemingly desperate action to save it got around, it caused some sympathetic customers to choose its product instead of cheaper ones. (And soon discovered that if it was sightly more expensive, it also got a far greater quality.) Some also choose to get one or two share in the company.
With more peoples buying its products, the company needed more staff. Recruiting everyone else is firing caused even more sympathy and more sales. With how much the company was doing, the price of its shares got up again, some of the smallest stockholders to sell their's. But not of the bigger one, and that now included his father.
That story forever changed America's financial face!
Ty then made sure that neither his parents, Dustin or himself will ever abuse their newfound wealth. That said, it didn't stop him from altering the second floor again, adding an indoor swimming pool on it. But he also wished the shared bathroom only got a bathtub, instead of the jacuzzi.
