Ty was finally happy with the financial part of his life. His family will always have everything it need, and even more. True, even with their dad's greatly increased income, neither Dustin or him got a bigger allowance than before the sub-prime crisis, but that was for the best.
That said, he still got ONE problem in his current life: How protective of him his brother was. Not that he got a problem with the fact Dustin watched his back, but it was to the point he didn't got anything in his life beside protecting Ty.
He needed to make quite clear he was able to defend himself. But how?
Suddenly, Ty remembered he never wished for him to have any kind of extra-curricular activity to do, making school the only thing in his life. That too, needed to change. Choosing well, he might even be able to hit two birds with one stone, so to speak. He needed to become a martial-artist.
As soon as he knew he wanted to be some kind of fighter, he knew which style he wanted to be his: Capoeira. The Brazilian dance-like martial art always fascinated him.
After wishing to be a capoeiristas, choosing to 'play' capoeira in it's sports form, he witnessed how well toned is muscles were becoming.
True, that change didn't reduce Dustin's desire to protect his brother, but they both knew Ty was far more able to protect himself than Dustin can hope too, so that didn't have much consequences anymore.
He then started to think about his foster family's name: Dubois. He knew it to be a French name, meaning his father must be of French descent. So, he wished him to speak French, teaching it to Dustin and him. For some unknown reason, his dad's first-name is now Marc, and Dustin become Justin. Ty giggled when he remembered his brother insisting that everyone said his name the French way, calming that "Otherwise it sound like 'Justine', which is a girl name!" (Something happening quite often.)
