Rosetta may have exaggerated the experience, but there’s no denying that flying felt wonderful. The sensation of wind playing off those beating wings upon your back, the fast-twitch muscles powering them, the weightlessness that felt so natural at this point, the gentle glow shrouding your body, you didn’t even have to think about your actions anymore; everything was as automatic as if you were walking or running.
“How far is Dandel’s place?” You ask Rosetta, hoping it was a long while.
“Not far, less than halfway across the village.” She answered. That somewhat disappointed you, but then she added, “But we could take the scenic route if you want.”
“That’d be great!”
Rosetta, then Tulipelle took a sharp turn with you following suit. After a moment, Tulipelle flew alongside you and asked, “Enjoying yourself?”
“Well, it’s not exactly like sex, but I will admit, it feels amazing.” You answer. That reminded you of the euphemisms for sex Rosetta mentioned. They all seemed to involve flowers. “Tulipelle, I gotta ask; ‘dueling pistils’?”
“Like I said, it means…”
“Well, I know what it refers to, but… how exactly does it relate to… that.” you begin to blush.
“You… want to know about… fairy sex?” Tulipelle asks, herself blushing.
“If you’re uncomfortable talking about it…”
“No, no… you’ll need to learn about it eventually, I guess, we have time. First, the act itself is not unlike human sex; but the anatomy is rather different. Remember when you noticed how we use flowers for everything?”
“Yeah, you said ‘You have no idea’.” You stopped and floated in midair. “Wait, you mean to say…”
“Yup, flowers are a fairy’s sex organs.”
“So, are we plants?” You ask as you continue following Rosetta again.
“We’re born from flowers, but fairies themselves are no more plants than we are insects, despite our insect-like wings; but I’m getting ahead of myself. You know of human female anatomy, right?”
“Yes.”
“Well if you think of the labia and clitoral hood as blooming petals, and imagine the clitoris itself as a flower’s pistil, you get the idea of how our sex organs work.”
“And ‘nectaring’?”
“As I said before, the act itself is not unlike human sex; and our flowers ‘nectar’ during activity, whereas our pistils nectar during climax. Pistil nectar contains our… genetic legacy; the rest is, well smoothing the ride.”
“We’re here!” Rosetta said. “Ya think you can handle landing?” She asks you.
“I think I got it.” You answer. You turn your body upright and slow your wings down, descending to the porch walk in front of a well-decorated entrance. Your feet touch the floor perfectly.”
“Oh, I almost forgot!” Rosetta said. “There’s something about Dandel I need to mention before you meet her.”
