"Can we see your true self, dear?" That question surprised Janith for a few seconds, until she remembered that only her family wasn't affected by Angelica's perception filter, unlike the Richardsons.
"Na… Naturally!" Nervously answered the demoness. "But, the funny thing is… heh… miss Angelica casted a perception filter, so I can be 'myself' at home without anyone but my family noticing." She then searched for the angel, who got a bit farther. She seemed to be discussing something with Julie, which the mother choose to not interrupt. "I'm sorry Mrs. Richardson, but I think you might have to wait for a bit."
"Not a problem, my dear. And please, call me Alice."

Angelica was quite perplexed by Julie's magical abilities. She was able to instinctively use it to manifest her own shield. More strange, Julie's shield-spell was extremely similar to Angelica's one, a spell that supposedly can only be casted by angels. "I've got something to ask you, Julie. Something about when we both casted shields. How did you do it?"
"Oh… I… I just, sensed your… Huh… 'Magical flux', I think? …And copied it. Somehow I… Huh… I was even able to sense some flaw in it, and how to correct them, so I did it in my version." Nervously answered the half-succubus. "Is… Is that a bad thing, miss Angelica?"
The angel was surprised by that. Sure, it was well known among angels that Maria, Jesus mother, naturally ascended to angelhood BEFORE her death, not long after her son become adult. (But she choose to hide it for her son's good.) And Moses birth mother probably would have too, if she got the chance. But being able to do angel's magic BEFORE ascending? Was it a secondary effect of having a pure heart wile being half-demon? "No Julie, quite the contrary. It's just very surprising that you were able to cast it, since it's supposed to be an angel only spell. And no need to be formal with me, we're probably going to be together for a loooong time."

During that time, William spoke a bit with Trisha. "You know… I think that having you around will help me with, well… With all this."
"How so?" Asked the surprised imp.
"Well… Even if it took a bit more time, my memories too got altered. For me you always were my daughter, I even remember your birth, only an instant after Tom's one. But in said memories, you weren't an imp, you truly were human, just like your siblings."
"I'm… I'm sorry, Mr. Fisher." Trisha sounded ashamed.
"Trish'… Don't be, it's not your fault. And if you're anything like in my memories, I only can be proud to be your father."
The imp then jumped on William, crying happy tears. "Thanks… Dad." She said, wile hugging him.
That's when Wesley intervened. "Ti… Trish? You don't look like you did after Aliza changed us. In fact, you look more like Mrs. Janith."
"I know." Answered Trisha. "It's because she's my master, and an imp is always the same kind of demon than their first master, just in a less powerful version of it."
"But wasn't this Aliza your first master?" Asked her friend.
"It was the case for Tizlira, the demoness Aliza created from me." Explained the young imp. "But even if I still am a demoness, I'm myself again. And as Trisha, since I was human, I never got any master before."
"Didn't you agreed to have Janith as a mother instead of a master?" Asked her new father, then.
"I agreed to accept her I my new mother, but as an imp I NEED a master. She's just not going to use the powers on me that have given her." Clarified Trisha.
At this, a sad looking succubus decided to add her own bit to the discussion. "Being an imp mean she don't truly have free will anymore. If I wanted, I would be able to overwrite any part of it, to make sure she follow my orders."
Jane and Angelica, having both rejoined the rest of the present peoples after ending their conversation, were surprised by that last information. The half-succubus was the first to respond. "Don't worry mom, I know you're not going to do this. You WILL be tempted to, but you're not going to act on it. You're stronger than that."
Seeing that her older daughter had ended her discussion with the angel, the succubus asked "Miss Angelica? Mrs. & Mr. Richardson wish to see my true self. Can you exclude them of your 'perception filter' spell or something?"
Angelica then turned to Julie. "You said you were able to cast a shield because you sensed my magic. Do you think you can modify my perception filter the same way?"
"I can try…" Answered the half-demoness, unsure.
Angelica's only answer was to nod, and so Julie started. Altering the spell without uncasting it, she first made sure it also covered Trisha. Then she made all the Richardsons unaffected by it. Then, just in case, she made sure any thief wouldn't be able to perceive anything of value inside the house. "Did it work?"
She didn't got any answers, but if the shriek of terror from Mr. Richardson was any indication, it DID work.
